ACT-Colombia's Indigenous Youth Advisory Board
Our largest program, ACT-Colombia, is proud to host an indigenous youth advisory board, which helps guide our organization. We believe that it is vital that the voices of those who will inherit the responsibility for our natural world be involved in the planning and implementation of our conservation work. The board currently consists of nine members, age 10 to 16, from the six major geographic regions in Colombia where we work. The group meets regularly and shares with us with their insights, perspectives, and priorities as young members of the indigenous communities with which we partner.
