Liliana Chacon-Menay

Communications Coordinator

Liliana joined ACT in August 2017 as Communications Coordinator, providing support for a wide range of external communications activities focusing on increasing ACT donor and general public awareness of ACT’s efforts. In this role, she is primarily responsible for both implementing ACT’s communications strategy and serving as project coordinator for communications initiatives. She is a communications practitioner with long experience in internal communications, B2B and B2C communications, graduate-level teaching, corporate and public sector communications training, brand management, and special event production.

Previously, Liliana served as an adjunct professor and teaching assistant at the George Washington University Graduate School of Political Management, while consulting for the International Monetary Fund to train their communications staff. Earlier, as Director of Strategic Vision and Marketing for Standard Furniture, Liliana was the executive in charge of the Kathy Ireland Home by Standard brand and proprietary brands, creating and directing cross-organizational, integrated marketing strategies in partnership with the Kathy Ireland Worldwide executive team and directing content, design and production of all corporate and brand communications.

Liliana carries a Master of Professional Studies in Strategic Public Relations degree from the George Washington University.
