ACT knows that many supporters and potential donors have ongoing concerns about their addresses or other personal information being sold to or shared with third parties. We, too, dislike receiving unsolicited mail, email, and telephone calls. Therefore, please be assured that ACT does not and will not share any donor's information with other organizations or individuals.
Credit Card Security
ACT is thankful for the financial support of our donors and constituents, and we take the security of your credit card and personal information seriously. In order to assure you that this information is secure, ACT has partnered with Sage Payment Solutions to process your online credit card donation through a secure connection. In addition, with one-time donations via our site, your credit card number is not stored on our server or database.

Email Addresses
ACT asks for your email address as part of the verification process of online credit card donations. It also allows us to keep you up to date on our accomplishments, through our quarterly email newsletter. Our updates are one of the benefits of being a donor to ACT, however if for any reason you wish to be removed from our email list, you can unsubscribe by: clicking on the 'unsubscribe' button at the bottom of the email newsletter emailed to you; emailing us at info@amazonteam.org or by directly calling us at (703) 522-4684.
Anonymous Donations
If you would like to make an anonymous gift to ACT, your donation will remain so to the extent that we will never publicly recognize your name in printed or online publications. Depending on the method of payment, such as by credit card or check, ACT must gather your billing and contact information in order to complete the gift transaction and to provide to you, if appropriate, a tax-deductible receipt. In addition, per the terms of our privacy policy, your information will not be shared with any other organization, corporation or individual. However, in accordance with federal regulations your name may appear in our publicly disclosed 990 tax form sent to the Internal Revenue Service.
